Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Creating an account is simple. Click the "Get Started" button on our homepage and follow the registration process. You'll need to provide your name, email address, and create a password. Once registered, you can immediately start your 14-day free trial without entering any payment information.
Do I need to install any software?
Time Tracker is a cloud-based solution, so there's no installation required for the web application. Simply log in through your browser to access all features. For desktop time tracking, we offer optional desktop apps for Windows and Mac that provide enhanced features like automatic time tracking and idle detection.
How do I add team members?
To add team members, go to "Settings" → "Team Members" and click "Invite Team Member." Enter their email address and select their role/permissions. They'll receive an invitation email to join your workspace. You can add as many team members as your subscription plan allows.

How accurate is the time tracking?
Time Tracker records time with second-level precision. Our timer captures exactly when you start and stop working, and our idle detection feature ensures you're not logging time when you're away from your computer. For manual time entries, you can specify time down to the minute.
Can I track time offline?
Yes, our desktop and mobile apps allow offline time tracking. Any time entries recorded while offline will automatically sync with your account once you're connected to the internet again. This ensures you never lose tracked time, even when working without an internet connection.
Can I edit time entries after they're recorded?
Yes, you can edit any time entry's duration, description, project, or client assignment after it's been recorded. Administrators can set permissions to control who can edit time entries and whether entries can be modified after a certain period (for compliance purposes).

How does the 14-day free trial work?
Our 14-day free trial gives you full access to all features of your selected plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. You'll receive notifications as your trial approaches its end, at which point you can enter payment information to continue using Time Tracker without interruption.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, the new features become available immediately, and you're only charged the prorated difference. When downgrading or canceling, changes take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or educational institutions?
